FUNdamental Basketball Skills (grades 1-5)
Have fun sharpening your basketball skills in preparation for the season. Work on the FUNdamentals with engaging drills and friendly competitions. The skills of the game will be taught in an easy to learn way. This session will be beneficial to all aspiring players as it will help reinforce the fundamentals of proper shooting, defense, rebounding, passing and dribbling in a positive, low-key environment.

Grades 3-5 Boys: 7:15-8:15 p.m.
Grades 3-5 Girls: 6:10-7:10 p.m.

Mite Co-Ed Basketball League
(Boys and Girls in Grades 1-2)
Our mite basketball league offers youth the opportunity to learn the game of basketball in a fun, positive team environment where each participant will have the opportunity to play in each game. Sign up now to be a part of the team! Important things to know about Mite Co-Ed: • Volunteer coaches are needed for each league. • Coaches will notify participants regarding the first practice the week before your league starts. • Participants must register according to the league description. • Only one player or coach request per person. Requests must match. • League may include some Wednesdays • Program meets once a week beginning with practices leading up to controlled scrimmages. • Fee includes a T-shirt

Volunteer Coaches Needed! (Kindergarten and Mite Leagues)
We need volunteers to serve as coaches and assistant coaches. You don’t have a lot of experience? Not a problem! Parks and Recreation conducts training for all coaches to get them started. Due to the need for volunteers, we reserve the right to withdraw any team without a coach. Please call 651-450-2580 if you are interested in coaching.
