Overview


Joining a team or becoming involved in one of our adult programs is the perfect way to relieve the stress and pressures of everyday life. We offer programs, sports events and leagues year-round for adults. You can register as a team or try our new free agent registration!

If you are new to the area, have been out of athletics for a while or just want to play adult sports but can't find teammates, the Inver Grove Heights Parks and Recreation Department now offers the opportunity to register as an individual. If interested, please fill out the form below and mail, drop off or fax to the Parks and Recreation office.

Adult Programs - Fall 2018


Indoor Walking - All Season


Simley High School, South St. Paul High School, Henry Sibley High School and the Veteran's Memorial Community Center (West Rink)* will be open for indoor walking.

Walking buttons can be purchased which will be good through May 31, 2019.**

VMCC, West Rink*: Mon-Fri: 7 a.m.-2 p.m.; $5
High Schools: Mon-Thu: 5-9 p.m.; $5

*Due to construction of the West Rink in the VMCC, walking will be unavailable until early November.
**Walking buttons can be purchased at IGH Park & Recreation Office, the 197 School District Office, the Thompson Activity Center (WSP) or at the Central Square Community Center. Walking buttons should be worn when participating.

Treasure Island Fall Lunch Cruise and Casino - Oct. 19


Board a deluxe motor coach at 8:30 a.m. on Fri, Oct. 19 from the Veteran's Memorial Community Center to Treasure Island Resort & Casino. There will be time in the casino before boarding the Spirit of the Water, an air-conditioned luxury cruise liner, for a lunch cruise along the Mississippi River. Enjoy an entree, vegetable, salad bar and dessert with refreshments while taking in the beauty of the banks of the Mississippi.

Date: Fri, Oct. 19
Time: The motor coach departs IGH at 8:30 a.m. and will return to IGH by 6 p.m.
Fee: $49/person - includes transportation, lunch and cruise

Travel Talk - Oct. 25 - FREE!


Interested in traveling with a group to locations through the U.S.? Landmark Tours will be onsite at the Veteran's Memorial Community Center (Community Room 2) on Thu, Oct. 25 to discuss the potential for trips in 2019.
