The Inver Grove Heights Parks & Recreation Department’s youth T-Ball / baseball / softball league offers youth the opportunity to learn the game of baseball / softball in a fun, positive environment. The program operates under the philosophy that each participant will have the opportunity to participate in each game and develop skills.
Inver Grove Heights Baseball Association (IGHBA) will now coordinate/supervise the U9 and U11 Leagues. The timeline, rules and structure of these leagues will be the same as it has the past three seasons but registration and administration will be coordinated through IGHBA. The U9 and U11 Leagues are In-House leagues done in collaboration with Eagan Athletic Association (EAA) and Eastview Athletic Association (EVAA).
For those seeking a more competitive program, IGH Baseball Association and the IGH Softball Federation offers a traveling program for players and families that would like to travel to other communities to play at a higher level than the in-house Parks & Recreation leagues. The traveling programs are geared towards those athletes and families that are dedicated to playing baseball/softball and requires a higher level of commitment. Playing time may not be equal and coaches at the traveling level begin to exercise the coaching of position players to provide the greatest strength to the team.
