Spring is definitely in the air with the blooming flowers, budding trees...and popping up of orange cones.
The City of Inver Grove Heights Public Works crews have been out doing annual spring maintenance on roads since early April, including a crackseal project in several IGH neighborhoods.
And beginning next week (May 18) city streets project work will begin with the Cahill Avenue Improvements project involving mill and overlay between Concord Blvd and Inver Grove Heights Trl. Potential traffic impacts will include a closure at Cheney Trail and Cahill Ave. Learn more about this project on the project web page: www.invergroveheights.org/1033/17500/Cahill-Ave-2020-Improvements.

Please slow down and pay attention when driving through project areas. We want our residents and our crews to stay safe.
Residents will see additional project happening on or near city streets which are in partnership with or led by the Minnesota Department of Transportation or Dakota County. If you aren’t finding information about a project on our website, visit these other agency websites to see if they are providing project updates.
We have listed several of these projects with the links to their respective project pages on our current construction page.
